It was easy to assemble, and happily the battery had enough charge on it that I could immediately take it for a spin. It's quiet and cuts beautifully. I like the fact that there's one height adjustment that raises or lowers all four wheels!
I put a full charge on the battery, and they say it takes 45 minutes but it didn't seem that long.
So yeah, I love it so far. It remains to be seen if my opinion will change.
Mows very well. Battery lasts around an hour as advertised. Perfect addition to our Bad Boy Avenger zero-turn mower. We use the self-propelled/push mower to mow around the areas the zero-turn can’t reach. Cuts down on weed-eating. Very pleased with the mower so far.
Our quality self propelled 21 inch cut gasoline lawnmower has a 1/2 gallon fuel tank (our yard requires 1 fill up to mow the entire lawn); using 1 gallon of gasoline.
Today’s gasoline price is $3.39 per gallon!
It cost $3.39 to mow our entire lawn (gasoline cost alone, not counting oil & tune up’s)!
Our Bad Boy 21inch cut self propelled battery powered lawnmower has a 400 watt hour battery (our yard requires 1 battery recharge to mow the entire yard); using 800 watt hours.
We currently pay 23 cents per kilowatt hour for electricity.
Small battery chargers use about 20% more electricity (kilowatt hours) to charge a battery.
2-400 watt hour batteries = 800 watt hours total. (1kw = 1,000 watt hours), 800/1000=80% (therefore, it takes about 20% (or 200 watt hours) to charge 2-400 watt hour batteries)), 1,000 watt hours or 1kw in this case (costing us 23 cents to mow the entire lawn).
A SAVINGS of $3.16 to mow with our battery self propelled powered Bad Boy lawnmower!
The only caveat is the 75 minute recharge time (not a problem in our case, we just take a lunch break and finish mowing with one battery discharge indicator light showing when finished (it isn’t blinking), 1/3 battery life remaining!
If you need to mow continuously for 2 hours, just purchase a spare battery for $239 (it will take about 76 hours of mowing time to pay for it), gasoline cost alone in our case!
You can also purchase the 80 volt, 8 amp (640 watt hour) battery for $334, if need be!
As always, YOU be the Judge!

The power is consistent the battery lasts like they say and you can bank a back up in there too if your yard is really big but you won’t need it
This is a follow on to my previous review!
This mower is a QUALITY Machine with very few plastic parts, as such, it is fairly heavy at 63 pounds (without the 6 lb battery). It is great for large areas (it is not built for trimming around trees and obstacles). A bit too much for a 125 lb 80 year old Lady to trim with!
One idiosyncrasy is that releasing the power lever to stop forward motion, it is fairly difficult to pull the mower backward until you manually push it forward about 1/4 turn of the rear wheels, then the wheels rotate backwards “freely”! A bit too much for “frail people to do!
If you can overlook this small issue, it’s a GREAT mower, if you can’t deal with this issue, it’s a very good mower for large areas!
