PART # 088-1007-00 DUAL LED LIGHT KIT.

The kit, especially the harness seems to be of good quality.
I thought I was buying a specific part for my specific mower. There are parts in the kit that make it universal. The instructions are very generalized. They do not give specific instructions on how to wire to a four-position switch, or to mount the lights to existing bolts. The one page, poorly written sheet just tells you to use self-tapping screws to put extra holes in the frame and then connect directly to the battery. They need to provide better instructions...

The supplied wiring harness was a perfect fit with plenty of wiring to spare. The decision of where and how to mount your choice of bracket application was tricky unless you have the proper tools. The illustrations and directions on the provided “install guide sheet” are sub par, in my opinion. There is no mention of the rocker switch staying lit without key unless you tie in the power on the light kit harness to the loose yellow wire on the main wiring harness of the mower. I did not want to slowly drain my battery on a brand new machine that costs thousands of dollars. Bad Boy customer service did guide me into this information, but the other problem was that the loose yellow wire on the mower had a different connection than the power wire on the light kit, so I had to cut each end and tie them together with a wire nut.

I would have assumed that, those directions and information would have been clearly identified in the install guide sheet. Would have been nice to know.

Overall give it 7/10 solely because of the lack of help on the install guide. Otherwise I would have reviewed this product much differently
