Put the chute blocker on cut twice with it and had to remove it and install the original chute.
The plate does not mate up to the deck properly on the top. There's an 1/8"-1/4" gap. This gap allows dirt, clipping, and material to blow out at a high velocity causing me to get covered in material. I tried putting a strip on door/window sealant but the force of the air just blew it out.
The problem: The three holes on the deck where the chutes bolt into need to have been drilled a little further back. This would allow for the plate to mount flush and not at an angle leaving a gap at the top.
As is.........I have a big paper weight sitting in my shop that I can't use.
I can't recommend this product because it doesn't work efficiently. Also, the directions suck. There's a rolling pin in the package but nowhere in the directions does it say when or how to use it. The instructions also show a to exploded views of how the plate should mount to the bracket. SURPRISE! Each view shows the plate being mounted differently. I tried it both ways and only one way works. Very disappointed. Don't purchase this product it does not function as advertised. We'll see if Bad Boy Mowers reaches out to me to make things right.
I understand that this product is not Bad Boy exclusive. It's advertised as a universal part. Bad Boy should not be recommending this as a mulching solution. I'm very happy with my machine but not this add-on.

I have not used it yet the weather has not cooperated I do have it on the mower and I am sure that the advanced chute system will work finr

Advanced chute blocker is awesome!
Shipping was fast, install was easy instructions were clear. Been using it for about a week or two and love it. Gives me piece of mind from throwing anything and keeps garden beds and landscaped beds free of grass.
